Stacy B. Brooks was appointed to serve as Probate Judge on April 15, 2016.  Prior to being Probate Judge she practiced law at Jones & Jones Attorneys in Andalusia.  Stacy was also an Assistant District Attorney with the Covington County District Attorney's Office, serving as the Drug Court Prosecutor.  She also served as Judge for the Gantt Municipal Court, as Judge for the River Falls Municipal Court and as the County Attorney.  She is an avid member of the Covington County Bar Association and the Alabama State Bar Association.  She graduated from Troy State University and Jones School of Law.  Stacy's parents are Jerry and Anita Bryan of Opp.  She is married to Corey Brooks from Opp and they have two lovely children Conner and Caroline.
